In cooperation with the Institute of midwifery from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) Cochrane have translated 120 Plain languages summaries between November 2016 and December 2017. All of this summaries are published in «Cochrane Kompakt» and was completed with the financial support of the Fondation Sana. The focus of the translated summaries was pregnancy, labour, health and nutrition of the newly born children. A specific feature of this project was the translation of all summaries from the special collection of the Cochrane Library: «Enabling breastfeeding for mothers and babies». In Switzerland all of the 120 translated Cochrane reviews are freely available thanks to a national license. In other countries there is only limited access to some special reviews. For example the 19 Cochrane Reviews of the Special Collection are freely available worldwide.
