Description: This course is designed for health professionals or other professionals interested in the field of health, with experience in quantitative and qualitative research. According to researchers, managers and policy makers, decision-making at every level of the health system should be based on the best available scientific evidence.
Given the complex and multidimensional nature of health services, this evidence is often based on multiple scientific studies types, namely qualitative, quantitative and mixed. It becomes therefore primordial for researchers in the field of health to understand the methods and the mixed literature reviews, meaning the ones combining qualitative and quantitative studies.
This workshop initiates participants to the mixed methods et to the synthesis of this type of knowledge, especially the mixed systematic reviews in health.
