Free access to the Cochrane Library in Switzerland

Health care is being improved constantly - what seemed adequate yesterday may be outdated today. For doctors in private practice it has not been easy to quickly access the most recent evidence from research. But also lay people want to use reliable health information. Are antibiotics beneficial for my child with acute middle ear infection? Does light therapy help prevent winter depression? Evidence-based answers to such questions can be found in the Cochrane Library. All residents in Switzerland have free access to it from now on. Die national license has been made possible with the support of the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences, the Federal Office of Public Health and the university libraries.
