Consumers and Health - Our collaboration with the FRC continues

Since early 2016, the Fédération Romande des Consommateurs (FRC, Federation of consumers of the French speaking part of Switzerland) and Cochrane Switzerland collaborate on a project to facilitate access to evidence-based healthcare information and strengthen the dialogue between consumers (patients) and healthcare professionals. Our main contribution to the project is to provide reliable information stemming from Cochrane systematic reviews that can be relevant to consumers. This project has been made possible by the support of the Commission de prévention de la santé et de lutte contre les addictions (CPLSA, Commission of health prevention and fight against addictions), which was recently renewed for a further one-year period. We look forward to future developments in the field of knowledge transfer and reliable health information enabled by this support.
