Pharmacological treatments for psoriasis - Living Systematic Review with network meta analysis
Psoriasis is a frequent inflammatory skin disease affecting between 2% and 8% of the general population. Psoriasis affects deeply quality of life. There is currently no cure for psoriasis, but various treatments can help to control the symptoms; thus, long-term treatment is usually needed.
Cochrane Library: Series of articles in the Swiss Medical Journal
From 6 November, four-part articles series on the Cochrane Library is featured in the Schweizerische Ärztezeitung. Previously, this newspaper rose attention to the free access to this information by means of half-page advertisements.
Cochrane evidence around nutrition in German
Many Cochrane reviews deal with nutritional topics. Cochrane Nutrition (https://nutrition.cochrane.org) contains a list of 800 such reviews. From these, in collaboration with Cochrane Germany, we have selected 150 of the most relevant for German speaking countries. The plain language summaries of these reviews have been translated into German since May 2019 and published continuously in Cochrane Kompakt.

The Biennial Report 2017 & 2018 is now online!Our activities during the past two years were aligned with the four main objectives in Cochrane’s “Strategy to 2020”: producing evidence, making evidence available, advocating for evidence and developing the organization. Our own strategic plan is consistent with this broader strategy while adjusting it to the healthcare setting in Switzerland and the resources available to our Associate Centre.
